Relaxing jigsaw puzzles of South Africa
Jigsaw is a free online jigsaw puzzle game with twelve original pictures of South Africa: Savanna Sunset, Table Mountain, King Protea, Ndebele Wall, Karoo Night, Durban Beachfront, Bo-Kaap, Jacaranda Avenue, Sodwana Reef, Drakensberg, Namaqualand Flowers and Boulders Penguins. Every picture is painted fresh at the size of your screen, so it's always sharp, and every puzzle gets a new cut, so you can do your favourites again and again.
What's in the game
- Four levels for each picture: Easy (12 pieces), Medium (35), Hard (70) and Master (70 pieces, most of them turned). Finish one level to open the next for that picture.
- A gold frame for every picture you finish on Master.
- A daily puzzle that's the same for everyone on the same day, with a streak to keep.
- Helpers: Edges shows only the straight-edged pieces, Ghost shows a faint picture on the board, and Peek shows the whole picture, like the lid of the box.
- Your puzzles save as you go, so you can close the page and carry on later.
Tips
- Start with the border. Switch on Edges to find the straight-edged pieces first.
- Sort by colour next: sky, water and ground usually fill whole areas of the picture.
- If two pieces look the same, either one will fit. Pieces with a matching shape and picture are accepted in each other's places.
- On Master, turn each piece upright before you drop it. Pieces only lock in place the right way up.
