Mini golf across South Africa
Putt Putt Safari is a free mini golf game with 36 hand-made holes on six courses, from the Kruger to the Drakensberg. Each hole fits your screen in one view, so you can plan your putt before you take it. Play on your own, pass one phone around with up to three friends, or take on computer players at Easy, Medium or Hard.
What's in the game
- Six courses of six holes: Kruger Safari, Durban Beachfront, Bo-Kaap Streets, Table Mountain, Karoo Night and Drakensberg Peaks. Finish a course to open the next.
- Obstacles that move and push: spinners, sliders, tunnels, bumpers, sand, ice, slopes, waterfalls, boost strips and the Cape Doctor wind on Table Mountain.
- Seven power-ups from the ? boxes on the course: Magnet Cup, Ghost Ball, Super Putt, Aim Guide, Mulligan, Shockwave and Mud.
- Nine golf balls to buy with coins, from Classic and Protea to Zebra, Disco and Gold.
- Stars for each course, your best round, and a count of your holes in one.
Tips
- Don't hit too hard near the cup. A fast ball can lip out and roll away.
- Moving obstacles keep a steady rhythm. Watch one full cycle before you putt through them.
- Use the walls. A bank shot off a wall is often safer than a straight putt past a hazard.
- Landing in water only costs the putt: your ball goes back to where you putted from.
- Hold on to a Mulligan for a risky shot, so you can take it back if it goes wrong.
- Par is set from how the Hard computer player scores, so finishing under par is a real achievement.
